CHORUS

laurels be eternal the ones we get:

live glory crowned, Or swear to die gloriously. Hear
mortals! the sacred cry:
Freedom, freedom, freedom!
Hear the noise of broken chains in
See noble Equality enthroned.
Rises to the earth
A new and glorious nation:
its head crowned with laurels
And her feet lying a Lion. Coro

Of the new champions
faces Mars himself seems to animate;
Greatness nests in their breasts,
In march they make everything shake.
was moved by the Inca tombs
And in their bones revive the ardor
What you see renews their children
the country 's former glory. Coro

Mountain ranges and
feel
walls resound with horrible din:
whole country is disturbed by shouts
of revenge, war and anger.

tyrants In the fierce jealousy spat
pestipherous bloody gall
His banner lifted the lid
Bring on more cruel. Coro

Did not see on Mexico and Quito
viciously throwing tough?
And what blood-soaked cry
Potosí, Cochabamba and La Paz?
Did not you see the sad Caracas
Grief and sorrow and death spread?
Did not see
beasts devouring all people who surrender? Coro

A Argentinos dare you!
The pride of the vile invader
Your fields and counting steps
So many glories as winner. But the brave
united swore that freedom sustain
His happy.
To those bloodthirsty tigers
Strong breasts will know to oppose. Coro

The brave Argentine weapons Run
burning with determination and courage,
The clarion of war as thunder
in the fields of South resounds;
Buenos Aires is affixed to the front
Of the people of the illustrious Union
And with robust arms they tear
the arrogant Iberian lion. Coro

San Jose, San Lorenzo, Suipacha,
Both Piedras, Salta and Tucumán, La Colonia and
same
walls of the tyrant in the Banda Oriental;
are eternal signs that say:
"Here, the Argentine arm prevailed."
"Here the fierce oppressor of his country
His proud neck bent." Coro

The Argentine warrior victory
covered with bright wings,
And embarrassed to view the tyrant
With infamy on the run occurred;
Her flags, their arms surrender
For trophies to Freedom.
And on wings of glory lifts the Throne
people worthy of their great majesty.
Choir
From pole to pole resounds
of Fame trumpet sound.
Y America learned the name, I repeat
mortals! Hear:
already displayed their worthy throne
United Provinces of the South! And the free
the world reply:
Al Gran Pueblo Argentino, Salud!
